	Welcome to Georgetown Little League

Georgetown Little League has been in existence for over 50 years, and became a charter member of Little League International in 1960. GLL is a non-profit organization serving over 1,000 families (over 1,500 children ages 5-18) each year with boy's baseball and girl's softball. It is funded entirely by registration fees, concession profits, and sponsor donations, and is operated by several hundred volunteers. Thank you to all of you who make this league what it is!

	Results of Final Field Move Vote

Dear Members of GLL,

As you know, we recently had a final vote on the relocation of the current fields at 28th and Baldwin to our new complex on Bauer Road near 48th Avenue. I am pleased to announce that over 80% of you voted to relocate the fields. This is great news for our kids, and will be a great opportunity for them.

Our current plans are to play at our current location in 2010, and then move to the new fields for the 2011 season.

Please continue to show your support of this move and let people in our community know how exciting this is and what a great opportunity it is for our kids.

Again, thank you for all your support as we continue to move towards our new location.

	Coaching Clinic for 2010 Coaches and Managers

Georgetown Little League is excited to announce that Big AL will be coming to town to perform coaching clinics for our coaches and managers March 29 and 30, 2010! This is a great opportunity for coaches of all experience levels to learn more about how to teach the games of baseball and softball to our kids in a positive manner. All this provided at no cost to GLL's managers and coaches!

Please mark your calendars now if you are considering coaching as all 2010 managers and coaches will be required to attend a clinic. More info on how to register will be coming as the dates approach!

	Logging in to your Personal Account

There have been a few questions about how to log into your personal account on our site. If you click the "Edit My Account" button on the lower left menu and then enter your email address only, it will send you a password for your account.

You can then go in and edit the options available, such as text messaging, e-mailing notification regarding games, pubic/private/roster viewing of your info (please use Roster if not a coach), etc. This screen also links to all members of your family as well.

While at this screen, you are also able to update your contact information so GLL always has the most up-to-date info. If you want multiple emails on your account, please put a semicolon ";" after the first email and then enter the second email.
