Important Facts About BEATING The Guinness World Record

$6.00 Registration Fee will cover all costs and remainder will be a donation to MSA. (no refunds)

Open to all kids, parents, coaches, teachers, college students, etc. (Do not need to be a Mahopac Resident).

First come basis - FIRST 2000 registrants – Will CLOSE registration at 2,000 participants and start a waitlist.

Registrant must commit to a two-hour time frame (this allows for sign in, lane assignments, wait time, run time and sign out). After you have run your 100 meters, you may leave.

In Order to BEAT the Record, each runner has to run 100 meters in 20 seconds.

On average, kids in Grades 1-8 can run 100 meters in 16-24 seconds and Track Stars in HS can run it in 11-15 seconds.

If you question your time, we will have clinics at Mahopac HS Track to test your time.

We need to beat Cavan Gaelic Athletic Association, at the Kingspan Breifne Park, Cavan, Ireland, who broke record in June, 2009 with 1986 Participants.

It is important that each Participant confirm their participation as we are trying to break a Guinness World Record.
