      Welcome to the first Athletic Newsletter.  I hope that friends of Timberlane are using our new website and finding it informative and useful.  My intent of the news letter is to update you on student athletes, coaches,alumni,upcoming events, and general information about Timberlane Athletics.

If I had one wish it would be: For good health and well being for my family

To be a Timberlane Coach means: To have the opportunity to work with some very dedicated athletesand work with a caring staff that genuinely cares for the student/athlete and each other.

Most exciting athletic moment: Becoming captain of the hockey team, and getting 2 overtime goals vs Spaulding

Future Plans: Get a degree in Business Management and play Junior Hockey

To be a Timberlane Athlete means:  To be dedicated and hardworking, because you love to play and have fun. Also to never give up


     Many of our alumni continue their athletic careers in college.  We will try to give you updates of who is playing .  If you have any information of someone we may have missed please email me and it will be placed in the notes.

Football- Kyle Harrington is a senior at the University of Massachusetts. He was the starting fullback for the past 2 seasons. This year because of a series of concusssions, Kyle has been forced to stop playing .  He still is part of the tourney bound U Mass team.....Tye Seastedt is a senior at Plymouth State and a 3 year starter at quarterback...Aaron Ellston also plays at Plymouth and is 3 year letterman  playing the defensive line....Justin Burden is a 2 year starting center at Western New England College. He was a District Academic All American and has been nominated  for National Academic All American...Tim Brown is a sophmore playing at Springfield College...Jon Patterson is a junior playing at Saint Anselms...Andrew Zambrano is at Plymouth State as a Red Shirt Freshman who is playing on special teams.

Field Hockey- Lauren Sickel is a senior at Providence Colege and played on a very successful team this year. She was selected 1st team Big East, 1st team Northeast All American, and 3rd team National All American....Lindsey Harrington played in the National Championship for Bentley College. She is  a senior who was selected 1st team All Conference and 1st team All American...Kadi Sickel played for the University of Iowa and was selected 1st team Big Ten and West Region All American...Laura Hansbury was senior captain at Merrimack College and was selected 2nd team all league...Renee Clavette returned to play again at Siena College......Jenee Clifford played for the Franklin Pierce Ravens.

 Boys Soccer- Corey Laycock is a frosh at St Anselms College.  Corey played substantial minutes this year and scored 3 goals...Evan Pronzati is playing at Worcester State College...and Joel Bicknell is playing at Nyack College

Girls Soccer-  Mairead Lundt was a senior captain at St Anselms College...Haley Traeger was a frosh starter for Bentley College

Cross Country--Jess Flinn is finishing out a fine running career at Boston College.  This year Jess ran once again in the National Cross Country Championships.

 Volleyball--Jess Cegarra finished her senior year a Bryant College and was named to the All Region Coaches Volleyball Team.  She ended her career with 534 blocks, the highest in Bryant history.....Samantha Regan (Sam) was a sophmore at Saint Anselms College and was the team leader in digs....Sara Peterson is a sophmore at Keene State College and was second on the team in digs.....Bri Doucet is a sophmore at Southern NH University.  Bri was second on the team in digs and kills....All four girls are from DANVILLE!!




On February 2, 2007, at Atkinson Country Club there will be a 20th year reunion of the 1987 state wrestling team.  Team members included:Brad Apitz, Bill Baldwin, Paul Busby,J ay Cadorette, Gerald Cannon, Brian Caron, Wes Decker, Chris Delorie,Dan Donovan,Scott Donovan, Chris Ellis, Phil Gulezian,Taylor Haskins, Rich Iacomini,Dan Lawrence,Dan Lewis, Chris Loader, Matt Lobsien, Jim Marcotte, Steve Melesky, Bill Mello, Shawn Messanger, Rob Morin, Joel Phelps, Mark Sherwood, Larry Staples, Scott Taillon, Chris Viera, J odi Agnew, Tony Baldwin, Jason Bell, Fran Chickering, Dave Damphouse, Paul Decarlo, Kevin Lynch, Brian Reilly, Brad Denning, Marc Devine, Chris German, Chris Honor, Kyle Crawford,and Mike Wasmer. The Timberlane varsity baseball team will play Dover high School at Merchants Stadium, the home of the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.  The game will be played on April 30 starting at 4:30.  Also the team has purchased tickets for the May 6th game on a Sunday, against the Bowie Baysox. The Baxsox are a minor league team for the Baltimore Orioles. Tickets are $8 each and the school and Dover High School will be at the game.  Anyone intersted in purchasing tickets (great Christmas gift) contact


The boys and girls basketball team will play in the Havehill Christmas Tournament.   The girls will open vs Greater Lawrence on Tuesday, December 26 at 7:45. The boys will play on Wednesdaay, December 27 vs New Bedford at 6:15.
