Silver Spring Lacrosse History

Silver Spring Lacrosse was established in 2001 as a house recreation only league, as a member of the Burtonsville Athletic Association (BAA). We joined the Southern Maryland Youth Lacrosse Association (SMYLA) in 2006 as a member of the central division. In 2007 we moved into the SMYLA north division. We are currently a member of BAA and participate in the SMYLA north division fielding two teams in the U9,U11,U13, and U15 age groups, we also have a scooper's program. Our original logo was the Burtonsville Buccaneers in 2009 we changed our name to the Silver Spring Warriors which more accurately defines the geographic area of our members.
