YLM requires its members (Associations) to perform background checks on all coaches who will have contact with their players. We know many associations perform these within their organizations.

YLM suggests you keep copies of these background checks in your association, YLM does not need a copy.

If your organization does not have this ability there are resources to help you comply with performing background checks.

Volunteer Select Plus

It costs $6.50 for a national criminal file check and there is a small fee, maybe $25 to set up an account.
