Dan Cousineau - Head Coach

Dan Cousineau is entering his second season as Head Coach of the Major Bantam Ohio AAA Blue Jackets. He previously served as Head Coach of the U18 AA Columbus Capitals for two seasons.
 
Cousineau is a 1999 graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Marketing. He was a four-time letter winner and two-time captain of the Buckeyes, serving as an assistant captain on Ohio States only Frozen Four team in 1998. 
 
After graduation, Cousineau signed with the Columbus Chill and finished the season and playoffs in that teams last season in Columbus . With the Chill, he was a teammate of current U16 coach Marty Laroche. 
 
Cousineau played five years of pro hockey split between the Indianapolis Ice of the CHL and San Diego Gulls of the WCHL/ECHL,   winning a CHL championship in 2000 with the Ice and a WCHL championship in 2003 with the Gulls.
 
Cousineau resides in Columbus and works as a Marketing Analyst in Powell , OH .

 

 

Jason Crain - Assistant Coach

Jason Crain is entering his second season as Asst. Coach of the Major Bantam Ohio AAA Blue Jackets.  He previously served as Asst. Coach of the U18 AA Columbus Capitals for two seasons.
 
Crain is a 2002 gradate of The
Ohio State University with a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. He was a 4 time letter winner and served as captain his senior year.

Crain was a third round NHL draft pick of the
Los Angeles Kings in 1999 going 74th overall.
 
Crain played 2 season of professional hockey for the Mississippi Seawolves, Dayton Bombers, Syracuse Crunch and Cleveland Barons in the ECHL and AHL.
 
Crain resides in Hilliard with his wife Erica and their daughter Nya. He is a salesman for
Columbus Equipment Company.
